Hermosilla azurea, the zebra-perch sea chub, is a species of sea chub native to the Pacific coast of North America where it occurs from Monterey Bay, California to the Gulf of California. It is a shallow-water species, found in near-shore waters down to a depth of 8 metres (26 ft). This species forms schools and is usually found in association with the Panamic sergeant major (Abudefduf troschelii). This species grows to a length of 45 centimetres (18 in) TL.
